Who was in the band, 1974–2013
Facts first, prose second
Dates, venues, line-ups and chart positions are structured data, checked by automated tests. The words around them come after.
A concert cannot be entered with a musician who was not in the band that day. Where two sources disagree, the entry says so and names both. If only the year is known, only the year is shown.

What the usual accounts leave out
Short, sourced essays on the least documented periods. Each ends by saying what is still unknown.

Reading alongside the biography
Richard Evans's authorised biography, Looking Backwards Towards the Future: The Story of Ultravox, was published by Omnibus Press on 8 October 2026. This archive does not retell that story. It catalogues what a narrative book has no room for: concert dates, catalogue numbers, the press, and the 1990s records.
